Position Description:Urban Engineers is seeking an entry level engineer, construction manager, or architect, primarily for construction consulting at our Philadelphia, PA office. This position will primarily be responsible for assisting consultants with construction claims analysis, construction scheduling, cost damage analysis and estimating, delay analyses, construction project management, and oversight consulting. Candidate should be skilled at understanding construction specifications and drawings, as well as reading contract documentation. Candidate will be assisting in analyzing change order requests and capital project documentation. Candidate must be able to assist with the preparation of expert reports and dispute resolution. Other duties include performing contract administration functions, such as schedule and budget management, document control and information management. Knowledge in highway, roadway, and transit design and/or construction is desirable.


Job Requirements:Ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture; E.I.T., CCM, or AIA is desired. Candidate should have 3 to 4 years of relevant construction claim and Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling experience, along with knowledge of Primavera scheduling software & Microsoft Office products. Candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills. Some travel may be required. #LI-ST1
