Duties

The Student Programs and Communications Coordinator works as part of the MBA Career Management (MBACM) Student Programs and Communications team and supports the Senior Associate Director of Student Engagement via four major functions: 1) managing all logistics for student events and career education programs, 2) developing and managing a robust website and cross-platform social media strategy to guide and communicate with MBA students, 3) coordinating and sending all student email communications and maintaining the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM), and 4) contributing to design projects such as creating graphics-based emails and career education materials for students and working cross-departmentally on employer-facing publications.



Qualifications


+ High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Design, Journalism or related field preferred.* 5-7 years experience required, with 2-3 years design and communications experience preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).* Basic HTML, CMS, and CRM experience required* Experience using PC-based PowerPoint, Word, and Excel required* Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign required* Knowledge of social media and social media management tools, preferably in a professional context* Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills essential* Required to have strong time management skills, ability to manage many duties at once, and be reliable and prompt* Must be customer service oriented and flexible* Ability to exercise judgment, initiative, discretion and independence in dealing with client base essential* Ability to work under limited supervision* Professional design and event coordination experience a plus* Knowledge of the recruiting process in a corporate or academic setting a plus
